It became a story poem, which became a project, which became a goal…. And in that time, he learned about how projects can heal, rebuild, and pull you forward towards something to be proud of. He now creates deadpan indie pop – especially for people who know what it’s like to have a project that helps them through tough times. Bin Weasel isn’t your typical raccoon-themed rock band. Formed in Cambridge in 2022, this feral foursome delivers a sound as raw and electrifying as a riot in a sushi restaurant. Their music is a rallying cry for the misunderstood, the nocturnal adventurers, and anyone who’s ever felt the urge to shake things up. Their live shows? A high-energy spectacle packed with infectious melodies, raucous sing-alongs, and unrelenting energy. After reaching the finals of the 2024 Cambridge Band Competition, Bin Weasel is making waves across East Anglia and gearing up to unleash their alt-rock anthems on the rest of the UK.
