The Pivot

The Pivot play an eclectic mix of Jazz with an incredible lineup. Members have performed at the 606 jazz club in Chelsea, Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia and collaborated with the likes of Ezra Collective. They have also been awarded in Jazz competitions such as the National Jazz Festival (Philadelphia, USA). And the National Jazz Festival (Manchester, UK). The group combine fresh takes on traditional jazz standards with lesser known tunes from around the world. They also take inspiration from improvised sessions like Steam Down Weekly in Peckham and perform completely improvised jams. You don’t want to miss this young group of performers.

Jamie Harms' CLIO

A cure for isolation, CLIO is the latest project from saxophonist and composer Jamie Harms. A fluid group of some of the greatest and kindest young players in the capital, CLIO seeks to bring people together both on the band-stand and in the audience. Set up by Jamie initially as a group to connect with his friends through music, the group has since crystallised a new sound drawing on the depth of the UK’s music scene. They play Jamie’s original tunes and reinterpretations of other songs, inspired by a variety of artists including Kenny Wheeler, Porij, John Zorn, and Laura Marling. The debut EP from CLIO is scheduled for release in late 2025.
