Vortex Floors

North London four-piece Vortex Floors bring classic alternative rock and post-punk energy back to centre stage, with their catchy hooks, funky Hammond-led sound and relentless psychedelic groove. Their acclaimed debut gig at the Macbeth, Hoxton in August 2023 was followed by two studio recordings – Ocean Girl and Runaway Train. Now available on most major platforms, the tracks provide a showcase for the band’s songwriting ability and sound. More recently, Vortex Floors have performed to a near full-house at the Spice of Life in February 2024. With many more London gigs planned, Vortex Floors promise to bring raw energy and musicianship to electrify venues near you very soon.

Ben Westwood

Sussex singer-songwriter Ben Westwood is back with his first new music in several years. Heartfelt ballad Save the best for you is a preview of a new album, due for release in 2026. Ben’s music blends soul, blues and folk, with diverse influences from Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye to Leonard Cohen and The Beatles. Ben previously had success with album Sing like your life depends on it, which dealt with grief as a widowed single father, including songs such as Falling and Time heal me. Ben studied music in London with respected artists such as Tom Baxter and Jamie Cullum’s brother Ben. He has played at top venues including the Brighton Dome and Ronnie Scott’s and received airplay on BBC radio.
