The Creature Appeal

The Creature Appeal have evolved massively since their formation in the primordial ooze that was the late 2010’s Birmingham indie landscape. They consist of Nicole Sedgley (Vocals), Campbell Air (Guitar), Conor Sharphouse (Bass) Cath Grove (Keys), and Andy Wilson (Drums). Their sound is difficult to pin down. Imagine the introspective and melancholy lyrics of Phoebe Bridgers/ Boygenius, paired with soaring, soulful vocals of Florence + The Machine, all backed by 2010’s-esque indie guitars. One thing is for sure; any gig with TCA on the line up will be an emotional rollercoaster.

Pomona Park

Pomona Park are a Manchester based indie band who blend youthful optimism and lyrical charm, with energy filled music. Formed in 2021 by Chris, James, Bobby, and Aaron by Salford Quays, the band emerged from lockdown with a desire to create and connect. Named after the untamed land between Manchester and Salford, you can hear this reflected in the raw potential of their music. With singles like Overdrink, Bothered, and Do Not Disturb, they’ve gained chart success, BBC Introducing features and Radio X X-posure plays. Known for heartfelt lyrics and dynamic gigs, they return with Lifeline, a personal and vulnerable track out October 3rd. Follow them online for more.

Mac Wood

Blending intricate and personal lyricism with powerful, anthemic indie melodies, Mac Wood brings back the raw sound of late ’90s and early 2000s indie rock to the age of social media. By embracing imperfection and stripping away excess Wood allows his music to speak straight to the listeners heart. It is music that empowers and unites – a voice for today’s youth and a nostalgic buzz for all generations. Wood delivers anthems and tunes that live both in your head and heart.
