THE EVENT

Rising artist lizmnk returns to the stage to deliver offerings of new music, a year on from the release of her debut EP ‘Message From Above’, which details her experiences of community, grief and self actualisation. Following the success of the EP’s launch party, the alternative jazz artist, poet and producer now hosts a single release party in the form of a “sacred, ethereal experience”.

Her newest single, ‘Sun Is My Lover/Mirage’, released through AWAL and sonically inspired by the likes of Alice Coltrane, Massive Attack and Nina Simone, is the centre of this event. Join her for a night of illuminating and transcendental music and performance, including a full live band and supporting acts Yaz and Waaw.

In the centre of Islington sits the prestigious Old Queen’s Head. Dripping in character and period décor, this truly beautiful venue plays host to some of HOT VOX’s finest. Experience some of the greatest new music in an exquisitely intimate setting, you saw them here first.
