Join us for an evening of ‘Beer and Busking’ through the secret refrigerator at The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town. This hidden gem features some of London’s finest emerging talent performing a mixture of originals, classic covers and modern-day hits. Show your support for the artists by leaving a ‘tip’ during their performance. All proceeds go to War Child UK to help children in areas of conflict.

On arrival please use the secret password and say ‘I’m here to see the Mayor’

Amber May

Amber May is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Berkshire, England. She has always loved old, and soulful music and is drawn to jazz and blues as well as R&B and soul. She incorporates a similar style into her work.Amber mays goal is to pursue a full time career in the music industry. As well as music her other passion is people and Amber may hopes to incorporate them both. She hopes to spread joy with her songs and use her platform of supporters to spread awareness on mental health and the message of peace and love.

Howard Gray

From the hills of Hertfordshire, Howard Gray brings newly inpsired original blues and rock music to the bustle of the Big Smoke. Inspired by the early roots of the blues and the songwriting of McCartney, expect stomping, bopping and riff-sloppin tunes! Howard is also in the band The 295 who have been playing gigs around the UK since 2019 and now sets out on his first set of solo performances since the dawn of time. Whether you are a fan of The Beatles of not, this sound is for you!

Mimi Froes

Mimi Froes is a 26-year-old singer-songwriter who already has two EPs and an album in her repertoire, including songs that gained significant visibility and earned her a nomination at the Portuguese Golden Globes. She grew up listening to Portuguese songs and pop music, and it was during her jazz course that she found the final ingredient to begin her songwriting journey. Her music has led her to collaborate with renowned Portuguese artists, perform abroad in cities such as Montevideo, Madrid and Paris, and to sign with Universal Music in Portugal. She is recognised for her great musicality and the poetry in all the songs she writes and now she’s planning to release new songs in English.

Moment in Time

Moment in Time is a duo songwriting team – lead singer Jess D’Souza and multi-instrumentalist Steve Hunter. Either backed by a 5-piece band, or acoustic with keys or guitar, they perform original songs from the heart, or twists on reminiscent covers. Moment in Time does not fit into one genre, taking influence from soul, funk, acid-jazz, trip-hop and drum & bass. Full of catchy hooks, uplifting lyrics, intricate beats and bouncy bass lines that make you move. A 90’s sound with an original twist. They’re working on their first EP.
