Join us for an evening of ‘Beer and Busking’ through the secret refrigerator at The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town. This hidden gem features some of London’s finest emerging talent performing a mixture of originals, classic covers and modern-day hits. Show your support for the artists by leaving a ‘tip’ during their performance. All proceeds go to War Child UK to help children in areas of conflict.

Laura Wharton

Laura Wharton is a 21-year-old singer-songwriter based in London. Her music leans towards folk-rock and indie folk, though she doesn’t subscribe to any particular genre. Laura began playing piano as a kid and later started writing songs at the age of 10. Over the years, she has found it difficult to write consistently while balancing music, sports, and academic work. Recently, she decided to take a year out of her maths degree at Oxford and will finally be releasing her debut album, ‘A Catalogue of Fantasies’.

Darcy Harding

Darcy Harding is a self releasing singer songwriter based in London, creating intimate, heartfelt music that blends elements of folk, indie and bedroom pop. Darcy’s songwriting explores vulnerability, growth, nostalgia, and self-discovery. Darcy draws inspiration from a wide range of sounds and emotions, this is showcased through both her story telling and her production style, experimenting with textured melodies, layering harmonies with lyrics that are both deeply personal and relatable. Currently working on her debut EP, Darcy continues to expand and grow as an artist.

MONI

Moni is a singer/songwriter from Germany. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artists, Moni’s music reflects a deep appreciation for classic folk and rock, while also embracing contemporary influences. With a voice that carries both warmth and depth, her sound blends indie folk, classic rock, and a touch of German pop. Her lyrics, often introspective and poignant, are paired with acoustic melodies and subtle instrumentation.

Starry Ray

Starry Ray is lighting up the modern country scene with a sound that’s as heartfelt as it is electrifying. The powerhouse vocalist and award-winning songwriter Starry, blends classic Country with a contemporary soulful edge. Starry’s poetic lyrics and unforgettable voice have taken her to stages alongside legends such as, John Heinrich (Ronnie Milsap) Chip Taylor (Angel of the Morning) and Susan Gibson (Wide Open Spaces, The Dixie Chicks), earning her a reputation as one of the most compelling voices in country music today. Nominated for country vocalist and original song at The Josie Music Awards 2025 to be held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville in November.
