The Creature Appeal

The Creature Appeal have evolved massively since their formation in the primordial ooze that was the late 2010’s Birmingham indie landscape. They consist of Nicole Sedgley (Vocals), Campbell Air (Guitar), Conor Sharphouse (Bass) Cath Grove (Keys), and Andy Wilson (Drums). Their sound is difficult to pin down. Imagine the introspective and melancholy lyrics of Phoebe Bridgers/ Boygenius, paired with soaring, soulful vocals of Florence + The Machine, all backed by 2010’s-esque indie guitars. One thing is for sure; any gig with TCA on the line up will be an emotional rollercoaster.

Payola

Payola were formed in January 2024 through a love of 60’s rock n’ roll, soul, 70’s punk, 90’s indie & Britpop, and a desire to add something new to an already brilliant London new music scene. As a result Payola’s swaggering debut single ‘Born Out Of Frustration‘, was released into the wild in August 2024 to high acclaim. “No holes barred rock n roll , that’s undoubtedly one of the best debut singles of the year” – This Is The Music “An anthem for the frustrated, a rallying cry wrapped in infectious hooks and charged with raw energy” – Epic Noise Follow up single ‘The Way It All Begins‘ is due for release in November 2024, with the band planning live shows throughout 2025.

THE RACKETEERS

The Racketeers are a garage rock act formed in Leeds. The band have built a loyal following, playing headline slots at venues across the North and London. This year they released ‘Motivated’ and ‘In Your Hands’ showcasing the band’s saxophone infused indie sound, inspired by the work of Jonny Davis and Sam Fender. The Racketeers continue to deliver the euphoric overdriven guitar hooks that have defined the band since their inception in 2016.

The Burning Feathers

The Burning Feathers were formed out of James Perryman and Soroush Shakeri’s frustration with the current state of music and they wanted to fill a void. Birthed during the pandemic, they wanted to do something different – to stand up, stand out and most importantly, make some noise. With old friends Rob Pennel and Alvin Ho forming the rhythm section, they took a no-frills approach, swiftly creating an album’s worth of music that brings together the alt-rock sounds of their youth with banging sing-along choruses… Songs of frustration, sorrow and the search for something better. For fans of: Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Raconteurs, Nirvana and Foo Fighters
