Out of thousands of hopefuls, only a handful of standout solo artists and duos remain in the Future Icon Quarter-Finals, each competing for a career-changing prize package worth over £5,000.

The winner will receive £1,000 in cash, an industry-leading PR and artist development package courtesy of Blinding Talent, and professional studio recording time at Puzzle Factory Studios.

Future Icon is built to give emerging talent the tools, support, and momentum they need to thrive, from funding to promotion to production.

Azileli

South London born producer singer-songwriter and DJ spanning trip-hop, folk, breakbeat and electronic, tied together with organic layered vocal melodies. Azileli will be incorporating synth textures, sample triggers and loop pedals to take you on an ethereal yet danceable journey through emotional landscapes. Her latest electronic EP Fruiting Parts was released in November 2024. This was celebrated at The Post Bar in Tottenham, in collaboration with the club night Banger After Banger. The EP garnered acclaim such as the lead track Rebuilding featured on BBC Introduding, and the music video for Ignored showcased in Cave Pimlico Gallery.

James Grace

James Grace’s music cuts straight to the heart — raw, unfiltered, and brimming with emotion. Writing with a skill beyond his years, James draws listeners into an intimate world of heartbreak, longing and self-reflection exploring the vivid highs and lows of life in your 20’s. James’s songwriting speaks for itself: a talent forged in unflinching honesty and a rare ability to deeply move audiences through his lyrics. Mona

Mona is a project born from a break-up with the artist’s previous band in Spain. Moving to London was the push that Mona was desperately looking for to start performing. Vulnerable and rebellious, she portrays emotions and stories that intentionally seek to connect the audience with their demons, hopes, and losses. Her music offers shelter to those who seek understanding and belonging and will create discomfort for those who are unwilling to look inside themselves. Mona will shoot an arrow straight to the heart unapologetically.

Cinema

Cinema are a two piece band formed in the halls of Southampton University who have taken their sound to London. The band condense the sounds and textures of soundscapes into pop songs, trying to make a big sound juxtapose against intimate lyrics. Inspired by artists such as Jockstrap, James Blake, Saya Grey and Brian Eno, the band aim to blend a variety of genres into one concise body of work.

Chris Cauduro is an Italian-British singer-songwriter whose dynamic fusion of rock, blues, pop, and folk creates a sound both timeless and fresh. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, Chris brings electrifying energy to the stage, pairing heartfelt songwriting with powerful guitar work and raw, emotive vocals. Influenced by legends like Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, and Pink Floyd, his music explores connection, vulnerability, and the pulse of human experience. With multiple independent releases, Chris is known for turning every performance into a shared moment of community—an invitation to feel alive through the power of music.
