BLAKE

Blake has just finished recording his first LP, “All The Ways I Could Tell You It’s Raining”, which has been a project two years in the making. It will be released in the early autumn. The album was recorded in various bedrooms across the country with a couple of mics and a collection of other constantly-breaking gear – but you won’t be able to tell. This performance is one of the first of this solo material, which he has begun to play both in London and Manchester. It is an example of the songs in their purest form, without the experimental production and instrumentation of the recording. Just voice, guitar and piano – just as they were written.

call me em

Born in Gloucestershire, Emily Tarry, the face behind call me em, was in love with music from a young age, especially pop. Inspired by female pop icons, she began to write her own music from as young as 8 years old. By age 13, she had won two school composition contests. During university, Emily joined a number of choirs and became interested in choral music, winning a scholarship for singing lessons from Girton College, Cambridge. Her music career took off during a year living in South Korea, where she was a regular performer in the bars of Gwangju. Since moving back to London, she has undertaken gigs and open mics at venues like The Bedford. Her music combines folk sounds with pop beats.

moki

Sweeping onto the music scene with vast and glittering visions, Moki is a young London-based musician whose melodies beckon long-lost summers, sparkling downtowns, and those sweet, shining illusions of love and dreaming. Influenced by the pioneering Joni Mitchell, Moki also blends wider 60/70s jazz/folk/rock, medieval music, with more contemporary styles like that of Amy Winehouse and Lana del Rey. As such, each composition becomes a world within itself; stirring the heart through simple yet poetic lyricism, wistful chords, and enigmatic vocals. His songs catalogue this mysterious journey through life; traversing youth, romance, nature, disillusionment, and sorrow.
