THE EVENT

Out of thousands of hopefuls, only a handful of standout solo artists and duos remain in the Future Icon Quarter-Finals, each competing for a career-changing prize package worth over £5,000.


The winner will receive £1,000 in cash, an industry-leading PR and artist development package courtesy of Blinding Talent, and professional studio recording time at Puzzle Factory Studios.


Future Icon is built to give emerging talent the tools, support, and momentum they need to thrive,  from funding to promotion to production.

Sam Butler

Originally from Essex, a childhood in Spain and 14 years in the Army, Sam Butler uses his varied and intriguing past to share stories of love, loss and pain. Inspired by Country, Americana and Blues music, his favourite artists are the likes of Tyler Childers, Colter wall and Sturgill Simpson which is reflected in his music.

Sam Edwards

Sam Edwards is a 25 year-old singer-songwriter from Wales, based in London. Born to a slap-bass player, music is in Sam’s blood. This shows on stage, as well as his unique humour and charm. He’s been releasing music for 10 years but recently took a short hiatus and is back with his best stuff yet! During this break he’s been building a following on Tik-Tok and refining his sound. He is an energetic performer and wants people to sing, dance and have a party with him, as well as laugh along in between the songs. His latest release ‘Best Of me’ has turned out to be the perfect comeback with his iconic Tik-Tok promotions garnering over a million views. Now releasing monthly, he is one to watch.

Sophie Wright

Sophie Wright is a 22 year old singer-songwriter based in London. Her folk melodies are inspired by the likes of Laura Marling and lean on poetic lyricism as a means of emotional storytelling. She recently graduated from UCL with a BA in English Literature and is now working to combine her interests in musical and literary art forms. Sophie Wright’s debut EP ‘Prose and Poetry’ was released through Spiritual Records earlier this year.

TÈODORA

TÉODORA is a rising UK artist known for her unique blend of dark pop and R&B. Her main inspiration is her Balkan heritage, adding a distinct cultural flair and uniqueness to her sound. She also loves pop influences, R&B’s soulful vocals, trap’s edgy production, and the complexity of electronic music – her sound is both innovative and emotionally compelling. Having performed on many iconic stages in the UK and Romania, TÉODORA’s powerful vocals and her flute, take center stage in live performances. With each release, TÉODORA pushes boundaries and redefines genres, crafting a captivating soundscape that is entirely her own.

Holly Fitz

Holly Fitz is a singer-songwriter based in London. Her songs draw on her experience of singing and drumming in a range of styles including pop, jazz, soul, folk, and musical theatre. Holly writes from the heart, focusing on themes of connection and mental health. She has enjoyed performing in different cities (Birmingham, Liverpool and London) and has been working on her music with talented cellist, Alex Duncalf. This year Holly has been recording her music and is looking forward to releasing her Debut Single. For this intimate acoustic gig, Holly will be performing with two talented friends of hers: Louisa Clogston on Viola and Ciaran Bradbury-Hickey on Guitar.

Brooke Dawn

Brooke Dawn is a young singer/songwriter with a passion for emotive lyrcism. Based in Brighton, she has explored a variety of local venues such as Brightom Dome, The Folkore Rooms, The Hope and Ruin and more. Outside of Brighton, Brooke earned the privelege of playing at The Royal Albert Hall. Since then, she has been featured in newspapers and radio stations, including BBC Radio Sussex! Brooke’s music is of a blend of folk and pop, with an occasional piano ballad. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Jeff Buckley and Eva Cassidy, you are sure to shed a tear. With much gratitude for her recent accomplishments in live performance, Brooke hopes to release her first single at the age of 18.
