This hidden gem features some of London’s finest emerging talent performing a mixture of originals, classic covers and modern-day hits. Show your support for the artists by leaving a ‘tip’ during their performance. All proceeds go to War Child UK to help children in areas of conflict.

The Ben Poore Project

The Ben Poore Project is a trio of talented musicians who bring a unique blend of Rock, Americana, Country, and Folk to their music. Lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Ben Poore, along with bassist Dan HM and drummer Matt Axx, have been honing their craft in covers bands before venturing into original music. Inspired by artists like Frank Turner, Jason Isbell, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan, The Ben Poore Project offers a contemporary sound that showcases their impressive vocal harmonies and diverse influences. 2024 saw The Ben Poore Project perform at Live & Unheard in Poole, and Boomtown Fair, with nominations as Best Breakthrough Act and Best Songwriter in the Dorset Original Music Awards.

Johnson

Johnson is a rock music enthusiast from Taiwan, deeply influenced by Radiohead. In high school, he gained band experience through his school’s rock club. In July 2024, he moved to London to study at King’s College London’s business school, with the deeper goal of pursuing music. By November, he had formed a band with members from the UK and India, and in December, they debuted at UCL performing Radiohead covers to great feedback. Since then, he has played at around a dozen open mic events across London, receiving strong encouragement—especially as an Asian artist. He will keep moving forward to make his voice heard.

Luke Vella

Luke Vella is a magnetic Maltese singer-songwriter and performer, rooted in London’s vibrant scene. He crafts a fusion of storytelling, visuals, and choreography and brings the world of Electronic Dance and Pop into his own realm. He invites his audience to lose themselves in his world whilst also aiding them to find pieces of their own. Luke creates a seductive and dynamic experience for his listeners encouraging freedom, self-expression, and fearless exploration of themselves.
