Join us for an evening of ‘Beer and Busking’ through the secret refrigerator at The Mayor Of Scaredy Cat Town. This hidden gem features some of London’s finest emerging talent performing a mixture of originals, classic covers and modern-day hits. Show your support for the artists by leaving a ‘tip’ during their performance. All proceeds go to War Child UK to help children in areas of conflict.

On arrival please use the secret password and say ‘I’m here to see the Mayor’

Emma Hampton

Emma Hampton is a London-based singer/songwriter who discovered her musical talent through performing in theatre quite early on in life. She started writing her own music in early 2018, and over the years, she started to find her signature sound. Emma’s songwriting style is unarguably incredibly vulnerable, honest and poetic. She conveys a multitude of emotions with her soft and smooth vocals, and brings it all together with the whimsical and beautiful instrumentals. Hampton wants her listeners not to take her too seriously outside of her songwriting. “I can sing with conviction if you want me to, but I don’t like to admit how sad life is without making a joke of it all”.

Nate Silas

Raised on Vancouver Island, Canada, Nate Silas is now based in Cornwall and has travelled to many lands. Nate grew up listening to diverse genres from 60s rock and roll, New Wave, folks songs and early 2000s pop-punk. He mixed his favourite bits from those influences together and voila – the music you hear today! Nate’s songs are heavily lyrical, inspired by gorgeous landscapes, memorable people and abstract ideas. Some of his songs deal with sadness and loss but there’s always an optimism and a silver lining to be found within them. Nate is a recording artist and a performer and his live shows are full of fascinating facts, humorous anecdotes and improvised banter with the crowd.

ANRAY

ANRAY – indie pop singer/songwriter, creates unique sound by mixing guitar and percussion. Using the deck as a bass drum and snare drum membrane, ANRAY complements his sound with a foot shaker and tambourine.
