Burntwood

Burntwood combine inventive songwriting with expansive atmospherics. They incorporate elements of post-rock, americana and alternative. The London four-piece are set to release their debut record in 2024. Evoking Wilco, Pixies and The Replacements, big melodies lie at the heart of the songs. With songwriting shared between Chris Hornsby (Lead vocals & guitar), Simon Shippey (vocals, guitar & keys) and Tim Thackray (vocals, bass), there’s an eclectic energy to their output, which flexes from raucous 3-minute numbers to more expansive explorations. Completed by drummer John Singh, Burntwood has shaped their live set on the London circuit in the past 12 months ahead of unveiling new music.

Anna Muir

Based on the UK South Coast, singer-songwriter Anna Muir creates music to drive, scream and cry to. With lyrics born from a restless mind shaped by a youth spent moving from place to place, Anna’s songs capture the ache of belonging nowhere and everywhere all at once. Inspired by indie-folk icons like Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, Anna blends visceral honesty with clever lyricism and dark humour. Intimate vocals float over dreamy guitars, crafting songs that linger long after the last note. Recently featured on billboards across her hometown of Southampton, Anna’s rising star has already earned her a prominent place in the indie scene.
