Out of the thousands of hopefuls that entered the Isle of Wight Festival New Blood Competition, the final few that remain are some of the most exciting and promising acts on the scene.


Having impressed a whole host of industry judges and music fans, our final 7 now battle it out at this special live Grand Final for a coveted slot at Isle of Wight Festival and to be crowned the winner of the New Blood Competition.

Broken Colours

Hailing from from High Wycombe (UK), the band deliver an energetic blend of indie, funk and rock, and are back with a bang with their new singles Not Giving in ‘Rearrange’ and ‘Take A Gamble’; to mark a new line up, new sound and a new direction. These bangers are a taster of their forthcoming EP, full of indie soulful funk!

Fletchr Fletchr

FLETCHR FLETCHR, comprised of musicians Rohan Fletcher and Adam Sanders, seamlessly blend together Rohan’s versatile deep vocals with Adam’s gliding higher harmonies to create their unique sound. Every part of their creative process is shared, with Adam focusing on the production and music and Rohan on the lyrics and songwriting, blending two musical minds into one.

One of BBC Dean Jackson’s ‘Hot for 2024’ artists, Jean is an indie-pop artist from Rutland, blending her Mark Ronson production influence with Nancy Sinatra-esque vocals and the eclectic jumble sale of music she was raised listening to. Best known for ‘Magic’, Jean had her break on BBC Introducing claiming Track of the Week several times and playing at iconic hotspots such as Sketch Mayfair, Jodie Bryant’s New Music Monday at The Ned, London Fashion Week and a sold out headline show in summer 2023.

Introducing misskikifoster, an extraordinary Hackney based artist blending old school R&B and vibrant Latina vibes. Born in Quito, Ecuador, to an English/Irish mother born and raised in Colombia and a Lebanese/Venezuelan father, her music reflects her diverse cultural upbringing. From Jacksonville, Florida, to a village near Cambridge, Kiki’s journey has shaped her captivating storytelling.

Guitar music breathes again. Scarlet Sometimes has arrived. Based in London, Scarlet Sometimes is a Rock & Roll band hailing originally from the North and South-West of England. Forget ten minute crescendos and Y2K hangovers: every song this group delivers is an adrenaline shot. They do not retreat from melody. They do not retreat from a world in crisis. They’re here to make you dance.

The Grove

The Grove is a seven-piece band fronted by Habiba Sesay, whose unique and captivating vocals instantly draw in fans. The band’s sound captures moments of funk, soul, and indie to create a varied yet coherent and adventurous style. As a group, The Grove have recently been away together and have returned with a new EP, which they are excited to share. The band have three singles released on Spotify and are in the process of recording a debut EP.

The Polygons

The Polygons are a Kent based Indie/Pop Rock band consisting of four best mates that met in a music class. They’ve been throwing shapes and playing music together since 2016. Their gigs are packed full of energy and original bangers (fusing together rock, pop, indie and britpop). Upon their first gig at The Forum Tunbridge wells, they were invited back to support ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ fame Toploader!
