Wild Hearted Sons are a London-based hard rock band featuring James ‘Jamie’ Wood on vocals, Jake and Cameron Storey on guitar and drums, and George Finch on bass. The wild, untamed sound comes from a huge range of influences; a core built with bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Rival Sons, and AC/DC, mixed in with The Black Crowes and a sprinkle of progressive bands like TOOL, all tied together with the fire of bands like Rage Against The Machine. Refusing to be pigeonholed, their style stretches the boundaries of hard rock. The band has a self-produced Demo that will be available soon! The Q have been on the UK music scene since the release of their debut EP, ISSUES, in 2008 on Time For Action Records which was produced by Vic Coppersmith-Heaven, (renowned producer of The Jam, The Vapours etc). This was followed up with their first album Sonically Sound in 2011 which sold out of it’s initial run in weeks. Since then they’ve been regular guest artists on tours of bands including “From The Jam”, “The Beat”, “Secret Affair”, “The Circles”, “Bad Manners”, “Big Country” and more as well as performing regularly across the UK, Germany and the occasional trip across the water to the USA Working with Welsh producer Greg Haver, (Manic Street Preachers, Catatonia, Bullet For My Valentine), The Q produced a further EP and album, (Chemical Overload and The Nations Recreation), before the COVID “Blip”. In writing THREE the band drew from their musical journey and the emotions surrounding this to produce songs that tell a personal story as well as including tracks inspired by social issues that they feel passionate about – something that’s influenced their writing since the band started. Slightlykilld are a London-based alternative rock duo made up of Polina on vocals and Kirill on guitar. Their music combines melodic songwriting, heavy guitars and electronic textures. Live, they pair vocals and guitar with drums, bass and synths to create a full, loud rock sound. Music brought them from Russia to the UK, where they now live and continue to build the band. They have toured the UK, supported Garbage in Moscow, and received support from BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Introducing and Radio X. Slightlykilld are currently working with producer Ian Davenport on new music and preparing their next release campaign and live shows across the UK.
