Kestrel

Formed in Newcastle in 2025, Kestrel are a four-piece alternative rock band writing atmospheric, guitar-driven songs with big choruses and plenty of energy. They’ve quickly become a familiar face on the local live scene, earning a reputation for passionate performances and a genuine connection with their audience. With shows at The Cluny in Newcastle and Barfly in Camden this August, Kestrel are a band on the rise and one to keep an eye on.

Natalie McLeary

Natalie has been a fan of Country music from childhood (when Country wasn’t cool) and her nick name was “Patsy”. On her many trips to Nashville she has been very fortunate to sing on stage and even showcase one of her original songs. She’s a huge Hank Williams and Patsy Cline fan amongst many other classic and modern Country artists including Miranda Lambert, LeAnne Rimes, Shania Twain and The Chicks. Her songwriting started only a couple of years ago and who knew she was such a prolific and excellent writer! Natalie tells stories of love and loss and even her gorgeous guitar and her fringe leather jacket!

Newbury

Newbury is the project of South London singer-songwriter Tom Allen. Blending 70s soft rock, Laurel Canyon folk and understated indie, his music draws on the songwriting of Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and Van Morrison, alongside Kurt Vile, Courtney Barnett, The Lemon Twigs and Daniel Romano. His songs explore love, loneliness, distance and self-sabotage with warmth, honesty and a cinematic sense of character. Built around guitar-led songwriting and intimate storytelling, Newbury is now developing his live show and working towards bringing his music to venues, festivals and wider audiences.
