Out of thousands of hopefuls, only a handful of standout solo artists and duos remain in the Future Icon Quarter-Finals, each competing for a career-changing prize package worth over £5,000.

The winner will receive £1,000 in cash, an industry-leading artist development package courtesy of Blinding Talent, and professional studio recording time at Darkwood Studios from Headliner.

Future Icon is built to give emerging talent the tools, support, and momentum they need to thrive, from funding to promotion to production.

LADSCLUB is an electro-pop and alt-pop duo from Brighton, UK, formed by musicians Greg and Ed. Their sound blends 70s disco, 80s synth-pop, and 90s dance, leading to comparisons like “Pet Shop Boys on acid”.

Thom Isaacs

Thom Isaacs is a Brighton-based indie musician best known for recording an album at The Inchindown Oil Tanks, the site of the world’s longest reverberation. His music combines heartwrenching lyrics with experimental sounds (think Mount Eerie, early Thom Yorke, with a splash of John Cale).

Clare Louise

Clare Louise is a powerhouse cowgirl-at-heart from Brighton; blending her love of storytelling with country-crossover style arrangement, her soulful and bluesy vocals will leave any listener singing the catchy melodies and lyrics for days and even weeks after. One to listen to for fans of artists such as Carrie Underwood, Beth Hart and Ella Langley.

Sam Power

Sam Power writes songs that sit at the crossroads of indie and acoustic rock, drawing on transatlantic influences shaped by his dual nationality. Largely self-taught, he is equal parts songwriter and producer with a full sound that layers guitars, keys, drums, bass, percussion, and vocals. Sam’s stripped back acoustic solo sets highlight lyrics which flow from catchy and playful to poetic and profound, matched to unexpectedly rich melodies: songs built from the ground up. At just 18, Sam is already causing waves in his hometown of Brighton, developing a voice that is unmistakably his.

Hope Donnelly

Hope is an emerging singer-songwriter from Brighton – carving out a distinctive sound by blending liquid drum & bass with elements of live instrumentation. After evolving from her indie rock roots, she’s creating music that fuses raw emotion, storytelling and electronic energy into something uniquely her own. Through honest lyrics and immersive soundscapes, Hope aims to give listeners a place to connect, escape and find pieces of their own story in hers.
