Out of thousands of hopefuls, only a handful of standout solo artists and duos remain in the Future Icon Quarter-Finals, each competing for a career-changing prize package worth over £5,000.

The winner will receive £1,000 in cash, an industry-leading artist development package courtesy of Blinding Talent, and professional studio recording time at Darkwood Studios from Headliner.

Future Icon is built to give emerging talent the tools, support, and momentum they need to thrive, from funding to promotion to production.

Marlee

Marlee is an independent alt-pop/rock artist whose work lives at the intersection of raw emotion, bold self-expression, and unapologetic individuality. Blending catchy pop melodies with rock-leaning intensity, her music feels both intimate and defiant. As a self-producing artist, Marlee controls every layer of her world, from the lyrics she writes to the visual art that surrounds her releases, creating a cohesive aesthetic that’s instantly recognisable and deeply personal. Whether through striking artwork or emotionally charged performances; Marlee is building a creative universe where sound and imagery work together to connect honestly and empower those who feel seen by her work.

Jason Patel

Jason Patel is one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists. A Rainbow Honours Musician of the Year nominee, Youth Music Awards nominee, and British LGBTQ+ Awards Rising Star nominee, his music is moving towards an upbeat, nostalgic contemporary pop sound rooted in soulful restraint and cinematic atmosphere. Recognised by PinkNews alongside Victoria Monét, his debut EP Delicious earned support from BBC Introducing, Wonderland, Attitude, and PinkNews. His original music featured in Netflix’s Unicorns, where he also starred as lead. His latest releases Do It Again? and Ooh La La mark a bold new chapter, emotionally rich, irresistibly fun, and entirely his own.

Maddison Goode

Maddison is a 23 year old singer/songwriter based in South East London. Inspired by an eclectic mix of music ranging from soul to rock, her original sound pushes limits with its ethereal melodies and emotional lyricism. She also plays the saxophone and has recently released an EP called ‘From A Windowsill’ showcasing a selection of her work.

Tilly Rigby

Tilly Rigby is a 20-year-old singer-songwritter originally based in devon but more recently london. Her music blends indie acoustics with lyrics that dance between humour and heartbreak, with a voice that feels like a quiet conversation at 3am. She is know for turning lifes weird, messy moments into beautifully raw songs, a scoial observer, capturing the anxiety, absurdity and awkward beauty of youth, espcially with the LGBTQ+ community. She won’t confront you but she will write a song about your breakdown.

Max Eastland

Max Eastland is a London-based singer-songwriter blending soft classic vocals with bossa nova, folk and jazz influences. His music combines intimate songwriting with warm Latin rhythms and cinematic atmosphere, drawing inspiration from artists such as João Gilberto and Chet Baker as well as James Taylor and The Villagers. His live performances move between stripped-back vulnerability and groove-led improvisation, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and contemporary

Charlotte Sell-Mendoza is a young singer-songwriter and actress from the UK. With stripped back and raw vocals, her songs navigate the funny, happy, shitty, relatable, and often confusing ups and downs of being in your 20s. After writing and performing in Paris for a couple years, she is finally back on home ground, ready to discover the London stage.
