Bonuru

Bonuru is the creation of writer, bandleader & guitarist Jacob Marshall-Tierney. His compositions have their roots in the exciting new sounds of uk jazz, but also draw influence from bands as diverse as Nirvana, Tool and The Police. Bonuru are signed to Blue Adventure Records, a label set up by NK-OK of Blue Lab Beat’s fame. Bonuru have been played on BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 3, WWFM, and Jazz FM, and have been highly praised by prestigious DJs such as Gilles Peterson, Soweto Kinch and Emily Pilbeam. Bonuru are definitely one to watch – and they’re just getting started!

Blue Ray Band

Blue Ray Band are one of the South West’s top jazz/swing bands featuring the sultry, female vocalist Charlie Bishop, pianist Matt Johns, James MacPhail on double bass and Pip Harbon on drums. They pay tribute to some of the greatest jazz singers from Ella Fitzgerald to Sarah Vaughan and Diana Krall, performing classic, jazz and swing songs including; ‘Fly Me To The Moon’, ‘Cheek to Cheek’ and ‘Fever’. Join Blue Ray Band as they play throughout the Uk, for an unforgettable evening, as they create a charming, jazz club atmosphere.
