Tris and the Tribe

As heard in Jazz FM, Tris and the Tribe is a London-based soul, funk and jazz band formed by singer-songwriter Tris Puri. After playing as a solo artist and a session guitarist, Tris enlisted a rhythm section, a horn section and backing singers to create a band with a truly unique sound that combines elements of funk, soul, jazz, with poppy hooks and guitar solos thrown in for good measure. The band has played around some of London’s most legendary venues including the Half Moon in Putney, the Bedford, the Camden Club, and has several sold out Sofar Sounds shows under their belt. The Tribe has just released its debut EP which was self-recorded at the iconic Maida Vale studios.

Piper-Grace

Raised in Devon, Piper-Grace grew up surrounded by the calm of the countryside. After learning as much about music as her hometown had to offer, she moved to London to achieve her dreams. Over time, she developed her confidence and honed her myriad of musical influences into a unique blend of contemporary pop and classical soul. The likes of Nina Simone and Adele to name a few, women who didn’t just sing but said something in their music. Piper-Grace is set to release again this year after a hiatus, she delves deep into exploring themes of healing, trauma and relationships. Her soul is audible in the melodies, bringing her listeners into an intimate, deeply personal experience.
